Established in 2015 and since it launched its national franchise programme in 2017, Fun Fest has achieved a UK-wide network that consists of over 25 operating units. These are spread from Chorley in the North to Orpington in the South. The franchise concept is centred on the children’s sector. The brand is expanding and is looking for new franchisees to take the quality brand even further. Are you the one?
What They Offer
Fun Fest’s unique selling point is in providing services that are designed to be child-led and which support children in their choices. The brand prides itself on its ability to provide children with the freedom to choose and the power to play. Understanding the needs of modern parents, Fun Fest works with them to make their busy lives more harmonious.
The brand’s range of childcare businesses fall under two strands: Fun Fest For Children which operates Holiday Clubs, Before & After School Clubs and Parties and Canopy Children’s Nurseries. Here’s a brief look at each one in more detail.
During a week of Fun Fest Holiday Club, children have the chance to play Quidditch (Harry Potter Experience), hold a snake (Animaltastic), bake a cake (Cupcake Heaven), build a den (Great Outdoors), juggle (Circus Skills), score a goal (Football Camp), design a bag (BLING), solve clues (Treasure Hunt), paint a canvas (Picturesque Painting) and drive like Lewis Hamilton (Go-Karting).
Fun Fest is also increasingly being asked to run schools’ before and after school clubs so this is what is offered as an additional service and this provides an extra income stream for franchisees. Some of the different after school activities that children can enjoy include pottery, dodgeball, barmy origami, tag rugby and Fun Day Friday.
As for birthday parties, children can enjoy a wide range of party themes on their special day such as the Beauty School Party, Nerf Challenge Party, Mission Impossible Party, I’m a Kid Get Me Out of Here Party and more.
Finally, in 2021 the brand is now offering Canopy Children’s Nursery franchises. This is after decades of experience of running Ofsted rated ‘outstanding’ nurseries. These franchises provide high quality nursery services for professional working families. The Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is offered “based on aspects of the Emilio Reggio approach to learning using open ended resources to stimulate children’s creativity and critical thinking.” What’s more is that the brand has worked with experienced design partners to “create a model nursery environment based on child-centred, calm and inviting spaces that inspire awe and wonder in the children.”
