According to Ripples’ independent financial advisors, Ripples franchisees can expect to see a return on their investment within three years. But what does the investment entail? As a franchisee, you will need a showroom although its size doesn’t necessarily align with the showroom’s performance. Typically, the brand looks for a minimum of 1,500 sq ft, although they have showrooms that are 5,000 sq ft in size.

This is achieved through a multi-tiered brand offering which means you can take advantage of a multi-award winning franchise’s brand, industry leading gross profit margins, a proven franchise model for nearly 20 years, founding partners with over 40 years of industry experience, 15 franchised showrooms, operate in a market that’s worth around £ 1billion, and franchisees who consistently achieve gross profits of 45% compared to the industry average of 30%.

If all this sounds good, you’re ready to talk to the franchisor. First, there will be a getting to know each other session where both you and the franchisor will be able to outline and establish your mutual objectives. Once both parties have agreed to work together, you will get help in searching for a property and it would normally take around eight weeks from the time you get your keys to your opening date. The Cost

The Ripples franchise fee is £40,000. This is a one-off fee and secures you a trading area for a period of 10 years. This is renewable with no further franchise fees involved. However, you can open a Ripples showroom if you have as little as £20,000. Meanwhile, the franchise fee includes a whole host of perks including:

  • Much of the display stock is provided FOC
  • One week training programme for your employees
  • Marketing launch and showroom grand opening support
  • Management of buying terms from suppliers, and

Funding

Ripples have good relationships with the majority of high street banks, who can lend up to 70% of the investment, subject to your status. You can borrow money even if you don’t have security by applying for a business loan that is partially underwritten by the UK Government for individuals who are unable to provide security. However, all this is subject to your individual financial status.

Training and Support

With Ripples, you’ll get comprehensive hands-on training at their head office in Bath both before opening and throughout the length of your franchise agreement. This help will include assistance in aspects such as recruitment, training, improving financial performance or the latest arrangements for your next in-store event.

In addition, the Ripples head office team will visit your showroom every week for the first two months after launch to provide hands-on support, if and when needed.
