About easyStorage

easyStorage was established in 2018 as a franchisor in the UK’s storage industry. It currently has 22 franchisees and is looking for more partners to join its network. Are you ready to stand up and be counted?

What They Offer

The easyStorage service helps customers throughout the UK who want to store their items for short or long periods of time. The collection and return service makes storing much easier while the van and fuel are free. All that customers pay for is the loading time. Customers’ items are packed into “easyPods” which can be stacked high at the franchisor’s warehouses. This results in very little space wastage. In addition, customers can book access to their easyPods in a specially designated viewing area or have them returned by a branded van.

easyStorage currently has five centres that cover Longon and the home counties in addition to franchises in Liverpool and Enfield. The ultimate storage solution, easyStorage takes the storage space to the customer as opposed to the other way around. This results in cost reductions of up to a whopping 60%. When customers are ready to have their items back, easyStorage will return them to any address in the UK and just like collection, the transport is free. However, charges will be applied if items are being returned outside of the area.

Wondering where to get the funding from? According to easyStorage, you can get in touch with their affiliates, who will help with all aspects of planning and financing. You will receive help with finding appropriate storage and as your sales grow, you can scale up to have your own unit. Furthermore, you will also work with an independent BFA-affiliated partner who will help you write your business plan for your territory. This plan will include a three-year cash flow forecast, a profit and loss statement and a balance sheet, although this can vary from franchisee to franchisee.

Training and Support

In order to get started, you will start with a full induction programme that takes place at easyStorage’s London headquarters. As part of this programme, you will get to grips with the technology that will help you manage your business, you will go out on collections to have first-hand experience in terms of work with customers and at the warehouse, you’ll see how unloading and storing of the easyPods takes place.

In addition, you’ll also work closely with a Franchise Support Manager and they will be responsible for coaching you through start up, growth and future development. You can also launch local marketing campaigns through the brand’s digital marketing channels and strategies. As a result, your customers can either book through the website or the centralised call centre.
