Founder of TechyTots franchise Julie Barber has been named a winner in Acquisition International Magazine’s Influential Businesswomen Awards this year.

The children’s coding classes franchise was among the winners this year, as it faced competition from franchises and business from all walks of life.

Celebrating women’s work and efforts, the Influential Businesswomen Awards recognise those women who are the “driving force of innovation, change and empowerment”.

Awards Coordinator Jessie Wilson applauded the winners “for their tenacity, sincerity, and passion for their respective businesses and fellow human beings.”

Irrespective of the challenges that they face, they have proven themselves by working hard and rising to the top, “so that they may influence and aid the rest of the world”.

TechyTots is a UK-based franchise brand that offers coding classes to children aged three to 10 years old through the “Play, Learn, Code” technique. Through it, children are encouraged to think critically and creatively, solve problems and in this way, gain a boost in confidence and concentration.

The seven-year old franchise is experiencing exceptional demand for its services, in a sector that is seeing a gap in terms of helping children advance their technical skills.

Catering to this growing demand, aspiring entrepreneurs interested in this opportunity can now take full advantage of it to become their own boss while being fully supported by the parent brand in their endeavours including training, support, marketing assistance, lesson plans and more.
